Some thing I knocked together last night:

i was trying to revamp a band shirt (I can never wear that style of neckline, I always look ridiculous!) that was just a little bit too tight and had those tiny sleeves that I just can't stand!
In the end its looking a bit like a nightie....but I damn rocking nightie!

Also, the bikini I mentioned in my last post. No action shots yet but you get the picture!

Some bits and bobs

I am sorry blog, I have been neglecting you! Mostly because my camera has finally given up and I had to wait to move back home before I could put pictures up of my recent bits!

First, the boyfriend gave me a couple of his old (and huge) shirts as they no longer fit. I had been waiting for ever to try out this tut, so the two came together quite well.
The first attempt:

I added a button with snap fastener waist tie. The tut said you wouldn't need a tie but I found the material stretched like straight away so I put one in. I also really like how (because I kind of ignored the instructions and cut the pieces wrong) the designs match up...I love it when that happens!
Numero dos:


I added a tie waist of this one, mostly cause I was lazy but also to try something different.

I also made dresses out of two saris that I had left over from my 'Abduction' project, although I only managed to get pictures of one.

Finally, I made a bikini out of a promotional bulmers shirt, so pictures as soon as the pool is in use!
