Final project of year 1 Bournemouth

This was the costume I made for Renaissance to Restoration Realisation (based on my design for Renaissance to Restoration Design below) I unfortunately don't have a photo of the final costume but felt it was worth posting. When finished, the costume did have all the ruffs as designed and the crinfrills were brown

Dulcinea, or my favourite costume so far

Dulcinea

Aldonza

This was my final project at Farnham. I chose to costume the dual personality of Dulcinea/Aldonza, from Cervantes' Don Quixote. Not only am I really proud of the final pieces, I also adore the stunning photo graphs taken by Katie Sindle (if she has a site I will link it here cause she is just amazing)

Farnham Recyle Project

This was a fashion based recycling project, and my take on it was to create a character. Here is a child whose father has left with the military (probably navy) and all she has of him are bits of old clothing. Neh, it isn't perfect but I do like how it came out all the same

First week of Bournemouth

Under the title of anger, made from recycled and found materials.

speaking of graphics

Just something I did while at Farnham, its a very basic technique but I just really like how this one came out (click to see the full image)

First post...original title

Right so, hi anyone who has found this blog!

I'm a costume student from the Arts Institute Bournemouth (soon to be known under some awful soulless university type title...) and I want somewhere to direct people to my work

I might shove some earlier stuff in here, graphics-y, fashion, foundation, but I will be mostly posting work from Bournemouth with an emphasis on realised costumes

So feel free to poke around and enjoy
